You've tried to stop.
This time, make it impossible

Gambling Block shuts down 470,000+ betting sites, casinos and crypto-gambling pages on your phone, then locks itself so you can't switch it off at 2 a.m. If you try, someone you chose gets an email.

The real problem

It's not that you don't want to stop.

It's that at 11 p.m., when the urge hits, the gap between wanting to stop and placing a bet is about four seconds.

1

You block one site. You find twelve more.

Self-excluding from a single bookmaker does nothing. There are hundreds of thousands of offshore casinos, sweepstakes sites and crypto sportsbooks one search away.

2

You install a blocker. You delete it in 30 seconds.

Every ordinary app blocker can be switched off the moment you want it off, which is exactly the moment it needed to hold.

3

You promise yourself tomorrow.

And the loss keeps compounding: the money, the lying, the 3 a.m. spirals, the person you're becoming to people who love you.

Willpower isn't the fix. Removing the option is.

Total coverage

470,000 sites blocked. Plus whatever else you name.

The blocklist is rebuilt every day, and anything we've missed you can add yourself in one tap.

  • 470,000+ domains. Sportsbooks, casinos, poker, slots, sweepstakes, crypto betting.
  • Block any other app or site yourself: your bank's betting section, a forum, a Telegram tipster.
  • Updated daily. The industry launches new mirror domains constantly. So do we.
  • Built-in site checker. Type any URL to see if it's covered, and request it if it isn't.

The part other blockers skip

You can't turn it off. That's the whole point.

A blocker you can disable is a blocker that fails on the one night it mattered. Gambling Block has three separate locks between you and a relapse.

  • Prevent app deletion. The app can't be removed from your phone while protection is on.
  • PIN protection. Give the PIN to a partner, a sponsor or a friend, and it stops being yours to undo.
  • The craving passes. Most urges peak and fade within about twenty minutes. The locks outlast the urge.

Sponsor mode

And if you try anyway, someone knows.

Add a friend, a partner or a family member as your sponsor. From then on, any attempt to weaken the protection emails them. You are no longer the only person in the room when it matters.

  • They are alerted, not asked. There is no permission to argue your way past at midnight, because the email has already gone.
  • Nothing for them to install. It is an email address, so anyone can be your sponsor, including the person least likely to download an app.
  • Every way out is covered. Turning off the block, deleting the app, even removing your sponsor: all three send the email.
  • They see attempts, not your browsing. Your sponsor knows the block was touched. They never get a log of what you look at.

Momentum

Watch the money come back.

Every clean day is counted. Every euro not lost is added up. Abstract "recovery" becomes a number that grows, and numbers that grow are hard to throw away.

  • Gambling-free timer down to the second, plus your longest streak.
  • Money and hours saved, calculated from your own habits.
  • A community of 5,000+ people doing the same thing, on the same days.

Setup

Protected in under two minutes.

No account. No credit card to look around. No sign-up form standing between you and the block.

1

Download

On iOS and Android. It installs like any other app. Nothing to configure on your router or your carrier.

2

Flip the switch

One toggle blocks all 470,000 sites. Turn on Prevent app deletion and a PIN, and it stops being something you can undo.

3

Name your sponsor

Add one person's email address. They are told if the protection is ever tampered with, and they do not need the app. This is the step our users credit most, and it takes about a minute.

Honest comparison

It worked wonders for me. It was impossible for me to do it on my own. Nothing to add. 20 days clean.

Is your gambling actually a problem?

Nine questions from the Problem Gambling Severity Index, the screening tool used by clinicians worldwide. Nothing leaves your browser.

Answer honestly. No one sees your answers, not even us.

Straight answers

The questions you're actually asking.

Can't I just delete the app when I get a craving?

No, and that's the entire reason this app exists. With Prevent app deletion turned on, Gambling Block can't be removed from your phone while protection is active. Add a PIN and give it to someone you trust, and turning the block off stops being a decision you can make alone at midnight. Turn on Sponsor mode and that person gets an email the moment anyone tries, including if you try to remove them.

Most gambling urges peak and subside within about twenty minutes. The locks are designed to outlast the urge, so the decision gets made by you-at-your-clearest instead of you-at-your-worst.

What does my sponsor actually see?

An email saying the protection was tampered with, and when. Sponsor mode exists to create accountability at the moment you are trying to get around the block, so that is what it reports: turning the block off, deleting the app, or removing them as your sponsor.

It is not a surveillance feature. Your sponsor does not receive a log of the sites you visit, because we do not build one.

Who should I choose as a sponsor?

Someone who already knows, or someone you are willing to tell. A partner, a sibling, a close friend, a recovery sponsor. All you need is their email address, and they do not have to install anything. What makes it work is not their expertise, it is that the message goes to a real person whose opinion you care about.

If you cannot face telling anyone yet, start with the blocking and the PIN, and add a sponsor later. Every layer helps on its own.

What if I find a gambling site you don't block?

The app has a built-in site checker: type any URL and it tells you whether it's covered. If it isn't, request it and we add it, usually within 24 hours. You can also block any site or app yourself, immediately, without waiting for us.

Does it work on offshore casinos and crypto betting sites?

Yes. This is exactly where national self-exclusion schemes fall down: they only cover licensed operators in one country. Our 470,000-domain list covers offshore sportsbooks, sweepstakes casinos and crypto gambling platforms too.

Can you see my browsing history?

No. We don't build a profile of the sites you visit, and we don't need an account or an email address for the app to work.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Full protection is a subscription billed by Apple or Google, and you can cancel it at any time from your App Store or Google Play account settings. We never hold your card details.

Do I have to be "an addict" to use this?

No. Plenty of people use Gambling Block simply because betting was eating money and evenings they'd rather spend elsewhere. If you're not sure where you sit, the free two-minute test above gives you an honest read.

Does it work on Android as well as iPhone?

Yes. Gambling Block is available on both iOS (16.0 and later) and Android. The same download link sends you to the right store automatically.

Will it slow down my phone or drain my battery?

No. Filtering runs on-device using the operating system's own content-blocking framework, which is designed to be lightweight.

The next urge is coming. Be ready before it does.

Two minutes now beats another morning of counting what you lost. Install it, switch it on, and see whether it holds.
